Your site’s SSL rating is more than just another security rating. It is also a banner signalling to search engines how trustworthy your website is, and as such, how high to rank it when potential users search for your site’s niche. Keeping your site at a high SSL rating guarantees more traffic from search engines, and also provides users with a sense of security while browsing. There are multiple functions you can add and/or enable to up your site’s SSL rating, which WP Site Checker will help you do.
First navigate to the WP Site Checker plugin from the admin console on the left side of your interface.
Then navigate to the WP General Checks Tab.
Navigate to the SSL Rating tab from there.
Here you will be provided with a comprehensive breakdown of your site’s SSL rating and grade, as well as a series of functions that would improve said grade and rating and whether those functions have been installed/enabled on your site or not.
Installing and enabling each of these functions will subsequently boost your websites SSL score till your reach a point where you are comfortable with the provided statistics.
