Making sure your site redirects itself from HTTP to HTTPS is a vital aspect of maintaining your site security, the process is known as 301 redirection. If you find your website is refusing to transfer over from an HTTP address to HTTPS, there may be an issue with your site’s 301 Redirection function. To check this simply follow these steps.
- First navigate to the WP Site Checker plugin from the admin console on the left side of your interface.
- Then navigate to the WP General Checks Tab.
- Navigate to the HTTP to HTTPS section from there.
- Here you will be able to see the status of your 301 redirection function.
